Terms of Service

The Service

DexNDecks is a companion app for Pokémon Trading Card Game collectors and players: collection tracking, card search, deck building, market prices, and related features.

• Some functionality is offered only on a paid subscription tier, DexNDecks Pro (see Subscriptions & Payments below).
• We may add, modify, or discontinue features at any time, and which features are free or Pro may change. The Service may occasionally experience downtime or errors.

Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app; see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service (collections, lists, decks, notes, profile information). You grant us the right to store and display that content in order to operate the Service.

• When you share a list via a public link, that list — including your username — becomes publicly visible to anyone with the link. You can stop sharing at any time from the app.
• Public-facing names you choose (your username and the names of lists and decks) are automatically screened for inappropriate content and may be rejected or require changing before they are accepted.
• We may remove content or revoke share links that are unlawful, offensive, or abusive.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Access the Service through automated means (scraping, bots, bulk API calls) or attempt to extract our data or datasets in bulk;
• Circumvent rate limits, authentication, or other technical protections;
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
• Impersonate DexNDecks, our staff, or any other person — including through your username or list and deck names;
• Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or paid-tier (Pro) restrictions;
• Resell or redistribute the Service or its data without our written permission.

Prices, Market Data & Wishlist Deals

The Service displays card prices, price history, trends, and signals such as Wishlist Deals and buy scores. About that information:

• Prices come from third-party sources and are updated periodically. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed, and can differ from actual market prices at any moment.
• Deal indicators, buy scores, and trend labels are automated, informational signals computed from historical price data. They are not financial, investment, or purchasing advice, and they are not a guarantee of value, scarcity, or future price movement.
• Trading cards are collectibles. Their value can go down as well as up. Any purchase decision you make is yours alone, and we are not responsible for losses resulting from decisions made using information in the Service.

Affiliate Links

Shop links to TCGplayer and eBay are affiliate links: we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Purchases happen entirely on those platforms, under their terms — we are not a party to those transactions and are not responsible for pricing, availability, shipping, or disputes on third-party marketplaces.

Subscriptions & Payments

DexNDecks offers an optional paid subscription, DexNDecks Pro, which unlocks additional features. Some features are free and some require Pro; which features fall into each tier may change over time.

• Pricing. DexNDecks Pro is offered at US$3.99/month or US$23.99/year. The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial. Prices may vary by region and may change; we will give notice of price changes as required by the App Store.
• Billing & auto-renewal. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store, and payment is charged to your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. A free trial, if any, converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Managing & cancelling. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account / App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds.Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's terms. Refund requests are handled by Apple under the App Store's policies; we are generally unable to issue refunds directly.

Apple is the merchant of record for these purchases. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

Intellectual Property

The Service — its software, design, and original content — belongs to us. These Terms don't grant you any rights to it beyond using the Service as intended.

Pokémon, Pokémon character names, card names, set names, card images, and all related game content — including attack and ability text, card stats, and other card data — are trademarks and copyrights of Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Game Freak, and/or Creatures Inc. DexNDecks is an unofficial, fan-made application; card content is displayed for identification and informational purposes only.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages — including lost profits, lost data, or losses related to card purchases or sales — arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be announced in the app. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
